A Lalitha is remembered as the first woman electrical engineer of india.She completed her electrical engineering degree from Alma mater, College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), University of Madras.Lalitha represented India in “International Conference of Women Engineers & Scientists” in 1964.
SIR M.VISVESVARAYA
Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya KCIE FASc, more commonly known as Sir MV, was an Indian civil engineer and statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore, serving from 1912 to 1919. He received India’s highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955.

Abdul Kalam was an Indian aerospace scientist and politician who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu and studied physics and aerospace engineering.

Elattuvalapil Sreedharan is an Indian civil engineer and a retired IRSE officer popularly known as the “Metro Man”. He is credited for changing the face of public transport in India with his leadership in building the Konkan railway and the Delhi metro while he served as the managing director of Delhi Metro Rail corporation DMRC between 1995 and 2012.
